Real or AI? is a free game provided for information and entertainment. We may change, pause or stop any part of it at any time.
Our answers
We work hard to make sure every answer is correct and we publish the evidence for each one (see our methodology). We cannot guarantee that the site is free of mistakes. If we find an error we will correct it. The site is not professional advice, and you should not rely on it alone to decide whether any other picture or video is genuine.
The free check
The free check sends what you submit to our AI provider, which separates the claims and searches public web sources, as described in the privacy policy. A result is automated. It is not a factual verdict and must not be taken as proof that something is true, false, genuine, manipulated, human-made or AI-generated.
Scam checks. A result may include a plain-language scam assessment such as “This looks like a scam”, “Be careful. We found warning signs” or “We did not spot the usual scam signs”. It is an automated opinion based only on what you submitted. It can be wrong: it can miss a scam and it can flag a genuine message. “We did not spot the usual scam signs” never means that something is safe, genuine or legitimate. A scam assessment is not a finding about any person, company, brand or website named in the material and does not accuse them of anything; scammers often pretend to be real, trusted organisations.
The “What to do now” and “Report it” guidance is general information, not legal, financial or security advice for your situation. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the police, banks, government bodies or reporting services we mention; check their official websites for current details. If you have lost money or shared bank or security details, contact your bank and the police straight away. Do not wait for, or rely on, a result from this site.
Do not submit passwords, one-time codes, card numbers or other security details, or material you do not have the right to share. We may limit how many checks can be run, and may pause the checker at any time.
Pictures, videos and credits
Each item is shown with its credit, licence and source. Those items belong to their creators or are in the public domain, as stated on each page; the licence shown there governs any reuse by you. The rest of the site, including its text, design and the game itself, belongs to NDVR LTD and may not be copied without permission, apart from sharing your own results and linking to our pages.
Fair play
Please do not try to manipulate the votes, overload the site, access parts of it that are not meant to be public, or use automated tools to copy it in bulk.
Links and embedded posts
We link to and embed material from other sites as evidence. We are not responsible for what those sites contain or how they handle your data.
Our responsibility to you
The site is provided free of charge and “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, NDVR LTD is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its contents. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer.

Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
